 Rifle Range

Our 100-yard rifle range offers 24 covered shooting positions. Each shooting position consists of an adjustable height bench for right and left handed shooters as well as 10 square feet of bench space for spotting scopes, ammo and other shooting accessories. Benches to the rear of the shooters are provided for spectators and longer gun case storage.

We allow shooting from the prone, seated and benchrest positions at paper targets positioned on stands at 25, 50 and 100 yards. We only allow paper targets. Our range is designed to allow shooting of all calibers up to (but not including) 50 BMG.

Our pro-shop stocks all popular (and many odd-ball) calibers as well as targets, eye and ear protection, spotting scopes and any other items you may need for your range visit.

Our range is constructed with overhead and ground baffles engineered to prevent stray bullets from exiting the confines of the range. A 15 foot high berm runs along the entire length of both sides of the range and connects to an earthen backstop into which all bullets are shot. This construction uses the zero-blue sky safety measure, which makes it impossible for a bullet to escape the range when fired from any of the fixed firing positions.

Range Officers are present to ensure the safety and comfort of all patrons by enforcing all safety regulations and providing assistance as needed. Many of our Range Officers are marksmanship instructors, and can provide assistance with basic sighting in and marksmanship techniques. Advanced marksmanship classes are available through our training department.

Shooting is conducted at 10-15 minute intervals, depending upon traffic. After the shooting interval has elapsed, a Range Officer will call a ceasefire, and explain that during a ceasefire no firearms may be approached or handled. Once the RO has verified that all firearms are unloaded and safe, shooters will be allowed down range to inspect and repair their targets. Once all shooters have returned from downrange, the RO will ensure the downrange area to be clear, and will call the range "hot," allowing firing to resume.

We are constantly striving to provide a safe and fun environment for new and experienced shooters to master the skills of safe gun handling and marksmanship. To those ends, we offer training classes and competitions and will gladly host leagues or clubs. If you would like to start a league or a club, please contact Mark@Tenoroc.us

Hearing and eye protection is mandatory for all shooters and spectators under the covered shooting area. All firearms not being fired must be unloaded with the actions open. All muzzles must be kept safely pointed downrange.
